Which Showstoppers classes are right for you?

There are many options to consider when joining the Showstoppers.  You can join just one group or you can join them all, the choice is up to you.

  • The Showstoppers have three age/skill based groups plus the production company, which encompasses all ages of participating Showstoppers.
  • The Senior Company consists of dancers ages 13 and up.
  • The Junior Company consists of dancers from 7 to 12 years old.
  • The Mini Company consists of dancers from 4 to 6 years old (this group depends on interest).
  • The Showstopper Production Company consists of dancers from each age level group.  This class is an excellent choice for the beginning competitor.
  • Showstoppers who have had previous lessons in tap are offered the chance to be a member of the Tap Company.
  • The Showstopper Ballet class consists of all dancers from each age level group. This class focuses on improving technique and proper placement.
  • The Stretch, Conditioning and Strength for Dance Class is available to all Jr. and Sr. level dancers and focuses on improving flexibilty, strength and endurance.

**PLEASE NOTE** In order to be a successful member of any of the groups within the Showstoppers Dance Troupe, you must have had sufficient previous dance experience in that area.

The Showstoppers have helped to raise thousands of dollars toward cancer research at charity events like Dance for Life where local dancers come together to perform and raise pledges for the American Cancer Society.

The Showstoppers have competed in many local and statewide competitions.  They have won 3rd, 2nd and 1st place overall awards but the emphasis is always placed on individual improvement and positive supportive attitudes for all dancers.

If some of these things we have done in the past sound like fun to you, then contact Miss Heather to join Showstoppers!
